The Best Thing About Getting Home Is Your Own Bed

I'm with Doreen on this one - there's nothing like it and we slept for 10 hours last night.

Thanks for all messages and great to see pics on the Dale,Doreen and Aussie Jo blogs. Will answer messages tomorrow - catching up with emails etc. and doing some more sleeping today.

Good to be home.

I know how you feel - just returned from New York and it's taking some time to get the body clock back to GMT!

Funny and true. I always think the best part of going away -- anywhere -- is the coming back --- to one's own space (and bed).

I've been banished to the back bedroom because I have a sore throat but it is still comfortable-I suppose its because it is in my own home.
You sure look happy in you own bed.

*LOL* This is the funniest thing I have seen in ages.
Clive reminds me of Bill Oddy peering over the top of a hedge!
Wonderful. :)

I couldn't agree more - there is nothing like being back in your own bed! We have just come back from 2 weeks in Pembrokeshire where we had a nice relaxing time - but I still yearned to be back in our bed!!!
Glad to hear you had a great trip.

Now if only I could have my choice of bed in the place from which I've just returned. I'd go back and never darken the doorway of The Hot Place again! Isn't it funny how we look forward to adventures and then once we get going on them how we look forward to the comforts of HOME*Sweet*HOME?

Still, you've got some wonderful material there for future works. Welcome back!
