Mamma's Got a Brand New Blog

Here it is - I hope it all works!  Please let me know if it doesn't. You will find lots of information such as my CV, a gallery of work - which already needs updating, details of d4daisy books and Workshop on the Web which includes a free workshop on making metal flowers. This is for those who aren't members of WoW (why aren't you members?) .

Then there is a page containing two free workshops - one on oiled paper and a download on using Shrinking Plastic. Next week I will expand this into making the Shrinking Plastic books.

Giveaway

I am giving out sheets of Shrinking Plastic so leave acomment if you would like to be included.

Let me know what you think of the new look - I have to make a new header but it is lunchtime and I am hungry!

I love the clean new look. It is so easy to find everything, and the colours of the books and other photos zing. I look forward to the new header - after lunch?

I am finding this new format more user friendlier than the previous format for some reason. I have tried using Facebook but I think I need one of the grandchildren to show me how!! Just love the idea of the free workshops even though I enjoy WOW workshops. In short the new Blog format is great. Congratulations.
May the New Year be all you and Clive wish for. Diane

I am new to everything including a member of WoW. I am very excited to have found all of you. Although I don't know what your blog looked like before this one is very nice. They are never updated as much as we would like.

I would like to try the shrinking plastic and I am headed to the workshop on metal flowers as well as the oiled paper.

So much to play with!

Sadly not got the new book yet but love the ones I have! I love making oiled paper - it is a beautiful surface to sew and have just been making some tags with shrink plastic embellishments

Kira said...

I like the nice clear headers so that everything's easy to find.

Shrinking plastic is fun but I've only done really basic stuff with it - making pendants and keyrings with the kids. It's great to see what adults can make :)
